Digital & Traditional Art
A collection of concepts, digital illustrations, and art I’ve done for personal projects, or just for fun. The digital art is a mix of quick sketches and concepts done in a variety of programs such as Photoshop, Krita, and the Affinity Creative Suite. For the traditional media, I usually use a mix of pen, pencils, markers, and watercolors.
This was a christmas gift - art trade for a friend, and she said she would like something studio ghibli related, so I made her a fanart desktop background of How's Moving Castle
Concept art of some trees I was working on for a video game project I was doing with some friends before it got scrapped, I had fun doing these and would love to do some more concepts in the future.
Train concepts for the previously mentioned game project, had started to try and get a feel for the shapes and colors, we wanted the trains to feel nostalgic/vintage and yet still modern

Fisherman Concept Design, At SCAD I took a 3D sculpting class but first we all had to do a concept/character sheet for the half-character sculpt we'd be doing - At the time I was unaware we would have to be showing human anatomy with the sculpt but looking back I had fun with this one and the end result sculpt was still fun
Here's the end result for the character I had sketched/concepted in the previous picture, in the end he wound up being a little less cartoony at the request of the professor I had at the time, but I loved learning more about the character creation process, and am happy with the end result with this being my first character sculpt

Very quick digital paint to try out some new brushes and see how I liked Krita as a paint program, as it turned out I ended up liking it a lot, and even ended up using it for the art-trade gift exchange I did some Howl's Moving Castle inspired fanart of for a friend.
Just a fun very quick paint I did in photoshop (with bob ross playing in the background) At some point I'd like to follow along with one of his videos in full and see how it translates to digital paint, but this was just a fun short little exercise
Senior Film poster, this was a poster I made in class one day for my senior animated film at SCAD, it actually garnered a fair amount of interest and led to me working with some really talented artists and making some new friends while working on the project.
A still from my senior film project mentioned in the previous poster-art photo, thankfully that poster allowed me to work with some really great artists, modelers, and riggers, and the film even went on to win some short film awards!
